Dr. Plunk has provided exceptional pediatric dental and orthodontic care in the White Rock/ Casa Linda communities of Dallas for 30 years. He is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas where he was a yell leader and Permanent Class President. Dr. Plunk completed his dental training, including graduate studies in Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. He has been a guest lecturer to graduate students in both pediatric and orthodontic departments of Baylor as well. He has practiced both specialties since 1985 offering his patients the most comprehensive approach to their dental care. Dr. Plunk continues to live in our community with his wife Carol. They have two grown children, Jeff and Sarah, both living in the Dallas area.

Molly ~ Front Desk Administrator
Molly has worked in Pediatric Dentistry since her graduation from ATI Dental Assisting School in 1999. She joined our office in 2002 as one of our front desk employees. As our Front Desk Administrator, Molly is responsible for helping parents to better understand insurance, orthodontic treatment, consents and financial contracts, as well as any other questions they may have. She is our go-to person! Molly is a talker, so stop by her desk and say hello, you will end up chatting with her for hours! She is an avid sports fan and will never miss a game, regardless of the sport. She lives in Combine with her husband Rusty and their children McKinley and Ryder. Her spare time always includes her family and their time spent in cheerleading,
T- ball and BMX racing.

Donna ~ Registered Dental Hygienist
With over 25 years in Pediatric Dentistry, Donna began her career in 1979 when, upon graduation from El Centro Junior College, she joined Dr. Plunk’s staff as a dental assistant. She subsequently continued her education earning her Dental Hygiene degree in 1995 from Tarrant County College. Donna’s love of children and outgoing personality serve her well as our Office Coordinator where in addition to her hygiene responsibilities, she acts as a liaison between patient, doctor and parent, recapping office visits and teaching families about home care. Donna is a life-long resident of East Dallas. She and her husband Bret have been married 30 years and have two grown sons, Kyle a third year law student at St. Mary’s University and Kevin a recent graduate of UTD. Donna spends free time reading novels, working crossword puzzles and traveling.

Lesa ~ Registered Dental Hygienist
Lesa received her Degree from Baylor College of Dental Hygiene in 1984. She joined Dr. Plunk’s practice in 1991 serving both in a part time and full time capacity. Her flexible schedule allowed her to spend more quality time with her husband Russell and their three sons Chad, Reed, and Ryan who is attending Texas A&M University. Lesa loves to cook, read, and dabbles in photography. She values her “work family” and enjoys practicing with a team that truly has a heart for children.

Vicky ~ Registered Dental Assistant
Vicky joined Dr. Plunk’s practice in 1990 as a dental assistant and is one of his longest serving employees. Her years of experience in pediatric and orthodontic assisting are an invaluable asset to Dr. Plunk, our Team and all the children entrusted to her care. Her expertise in behavior management prepares even the most apprehensive child for their dental care. Vicky lives in our community and loves to volunteer and make a difference. She is mother to PFC Andrew Yanes, currently serving our country in the US Army Reserves, and Sarah a recent Bishop Lynch graduate. You can always count on Vicky to bring her good humor and positive attitude to the practice

Alysse ~ Registered Dental Assistant
Alysse joined our team in April 2009 as a Registered Dental Assistant. She attended Texas Tech University for three years and then came back to Dallas to work as a Pre-School teacher for one year. Her experience with children is of great benefit to your kids whether they're having x-rays taken, a filling or orthodontic care. Alysse lives in the Dallas area and spends her spare time with many friends, and her busy family, attending as many of her young cousins Little League baseball, soccer and cheerleading events as possible. Alysse is a volunteer at Children’s Medical Center where she is able to further pursue her passion working with children. At the hospital, she helps to enrich the lives of the children and enables them to have a more enjoyable experience overall.

Debbie ~ Administrative Assistant
Though you may not see Debbie as much as some of the other staff, this office could not run without her. She attended Abilene Christian University and has had a dental career expanding 20+ years. She joined our team in 1995 as Dr. Plunk’s full time Front Desk Administrator, making the drive every day from Midlothian. A few years ago, Debbie and her husband Greg moved to Lake Granbury and at that time, Debbie joined the ranks as one of Dr. Plunk’s valuable part time employees. Needless to say, they are “Lake Enthusiasts” and spend most of their free time with family and friends in the Granbury area. Debbie also enjoys snow skiing and her annual trip to New Orleans to enjoy Mardi Gras.

Erin ~ Administrative Assistant
Erin Lee Lopez is back!!! Many of you may recognize her from a previous employment with Dr. Plunk in the late nineties. You will meet her at the front desk with her ever present smile and bubbly personality where she will help you manage your dental insurance, schedule appointments and assist you with anything else you need. Erin and her husband Jay live in Mesquite with their two sons Jaden and Kane. In her spare time, Erin loves to shop! The entire family loves sports of all kinds, including T-Ball for the boys. In an office full of Dallas Mavericks fans, Erin stands alone calling herself the “Ultimate LA Lakers Fan”!!

Susan ~ Registered Dental Hygienist
Susan graduated from Baylor Caruth School of Dental Hygiene in 1981. She worked for 12 years as a hygienist in both general and pediatric dentistry including Dr. Plunk’s practice. After taking time off to homeschool her five children, she is enjoying work as a part time employee for Dr. Plunk. She has been married to her husband, Paul, for 30 years. Outside the office she is involved in her church and supports her husband as the youth group leader. She has two grown children and three still at home.

Denise ~ Registered Dental Assistant
Denise received her Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Management, and Tourism from Northwestern State University. She uses her outstanding organization and communication skills to interact with her patients, their parents, and her fellow team members. In early 2008, Denise retired from our practice to be a full time wife and mother and during this time she returned to school to earn another degree in Early Childhood Education. After two years teaching with Forney ISD, she made the decision to return to Pediatric Dentistry. Her energy and positive attitude is contagious and we are extremely excited to have her back on our TEAM! Denise lives in Forney with her husband Michael and their two handsome sons, Brayden and Lincoln. They enjoy time at the lake, fishing, hunting, and various team sports with their sons.
